My top tips for Yoga at home through Zoom…
- Make sure you set time aside to come put it on the calendar, or set a reminder on your phone so you don’t forget when it’s on!
- The ZOOM ID for all Re-Root classes is the same for every class every week. Scribble it down on a post it and stick it to your pc or save it to your contacts in zoom. If you’re booking onto a paid class you’ll be emailed with a password.
- Set up a space free of distractions, furniture and anything that will detract from your time practicing
- Speaker view button at the top right will allow you to see me in full screen.
- Mute and video icons on the bottom left give you options to turn your mic off or video-if you want to practice privately no problem!
- Chat icon at the bottom of the screen-you can talk privately to me here if you need to-injuries or health concerns you’d rather not say in front of others.
- Listen to your body-I’m not there to make hands on adjustments for you, so I am trusting more than ever that you are looking after yourself and ease off if something doesn’t feel right.
- Set the mood! Dim the lights, light a candle or essential oils to burn.

- Put on some tunes. If you prefer to practice listening to music you can hit the mute button on zoom and play some on a different device-ie if you are watching zoom on your tablet or laptop play the music on a stereo or phone.
- Find me on spotify! If you miss my playlists from class head over to my account-the playlist I love to play you can find here and feel like you’re back in class!
- Feedback! I love to hear what poses you’d like to work on or emotions or areas of the body you’d like to focus on in class. I’m doing these classes for you, so let me know how I can help.
